Introduction

Bright Group International ("the Group") is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its operations and supply chains. We recognise our ongoing responsibility to take a robust approach to these issues and are dedicated to ensuring ethical business practices throughout our business operations and supply chain.

Our Business and Structure

The Group operates across multiple industries, predominantly in Recruitment, both Permanent and Flexible labour, however not limited to entities specialising in software and compliance, with subsidiaries and partners spanning various countries. We employ and engage with a diverse range of suppliers and stakeholders worldwide. This statement covers all entities within the Group with the exception of Smart Solutions (Recruitment) Limited which is the only entity in the Group that requires to provide a statement in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Our Commitment

We are committed to upholding human rights and ensuring that modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains. We continuously review our policies, training programs, and due diligence processes to combat these risks effectively.

Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery

To prevent modern slavery, we have implemented the following policies:

  • Prevention Hidden Labour Exploitation Policy – Outlining our commitment to ethical practices.
  • Whistleblowing Policy – Encouraging employees and stakeholders to report concerns without fear of retaliation.
  • Recruitment Policy – Conducting thorough background checks where appropriate and ensuring ethical hiring practices.

Training and Awareness

We provide training to employees, and management across the Group to ensure:

  • Awareness of modern slavery risks and how to identify them.
  • Compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Encouragement to report any suspicious activities.

Future Steps

The Group remains committed to strengthening its approach to tackling modern slavery. Our future plans include:

  • Increasing transparency and audit measures in our supply chains.
  • Developing Company-specific actions and statements for all Companies within the Group.
